DIY: Disney Puzzle & Framing

Fun fact about our family… we are huge Disney fans! As soon as our son was able to walk (nearly 8 years ago) we took him straight to Disneyland. Since then we’ve come back well over a dozen times creating countless memories at both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.

Disney’s 60th Diamond Celebration in 2015 was hands down the best trip.  Fortunately we were able to have seen all the beautiful sparkling decor and the featured “Paint the Night” parade, Disneyland Forever” fireworks, and “World of Color- Celebrate!”.

It was during this trip we bought the “Disney’s 60th Diamond Celebration” puzzle as our souvenir.  We were all so excited about this puzzle that we started working on it as a family the very next day. The following couple nights consisted of working on this puzzle and before we knew it, it was finished!

Framing

Supplies:
Completed puzzle
Frame
Mod Podge (glue/puzzle protector)
Paint brush
Painters tape (secure puzzle to boarder)

Steps:
Protect the surface you will be laying the puzzle on. (mod podge may seep in between puzzle pieces and get on the surface the puzzle is laying on)
Using a paint brush, brush mod lodge on top of the puzzle (brush strokes will appear)
Let dry 10-15 mins
Apply second coat
Let dry
Tape puzzle to boarder - using painters tape
Insert in frame
Hang at desired location!

Viola! Now you too can showcase all the hard work and time you put into completing your own puzzle!
